Across the site, this icon indicates updates for the 2019 run of the party.
List of Changes for 2019
- Added lights inside the potions cabinets.
- Added twinkle sound to the potions cabinets.
- Updated the potions textbook to both streamline ingredients and add some non-alcoholic drinks.
- Added a Hagrid’s Hut location containing a wanted photobooth.
- Added a Potionmaster’s magic ring.
- Used the wand tags.
- Recreated the Hogwarts silhouette as a tiled laser-cut pattern.
- New potionmaster refill rack design — easier to quickly measure.
- Random video snippet playlist from the Harry Potter films.
- A Hogwarts Standard Time clock in the common room.
- New “Room of Requirement” sign from the filming studio outside of London.
- The house elves were hidden away, so weren’t wearing cat-size pillowcases.
- No flamingos this year!
- And to ease our workload, allowing us to enjoy the party more:
- We hired a professional photographer!
- We brought in a local barista friend to help with restocking the potions cabinets.
