Potionmaster Refill Rack

Redesigned in 2019.

The original potionmasater refill rack was a quick laser-cut design I threw together the day before the party. (Scroll down for the 2019 update.) I figured I could use some helping hands to hold test tubes as I refilled them throughout the party. Bonus for having marked refill lines to measure against.

This is one of those good-news/bad-news situations. The good news is that it generally worked. The bad news is that the design was a little loose. I should have either tightened up the holes for holding the test tubes or spaced them further apart. The other bad news is that the 2oz marker line was incorrect.

But overall, it was a quick little design that turned out to be absolutely valuable that night.

The original design was a little difficult to read, especially the 0.5oz line, which was almost complete obscured. For the 2019 party, I had a little more lead-time to come up with a better, more ergonomic and functional, design. The new version aligns the braces to the measurement lines, pulls the label text far out to the front, tightens the test tube holes, and generally just fits together better.
